Most common areas in off set printing are misfeeds; this is due to static charges being generated on the substrate as friction occurs as one sheet is dragged across the top of another. This can also lead to BLOCKING, where all the sheets just stick together and no feeds taker place.

By fitting PULSElectronic ionising nozzles to the stack, as the top sheet is grabbed to feed the machine, a blade of ionised air is blown between the top sheet and the penultimate sheet, which eliminates the charge and prevents blocking, sticking and jamming.
