VIBRATING FORK LEVEL SWITCH
Vibrating Fork Silo Level Sensor
Stock Code: 6 S1 V1 DA2
Vibrating Fork Silo Level Sensor (Tuning Fork Level Switch) is a durable, long-lasting, and true price-performance product designed to monitor raw material levels in silos, tanks, and hoppers with millimeter precision and high reliability, withstanding harsh industrial conditions thanks to its stainless steel body structure. It is a professional level control solution that eliminates the risk of clogging and false alarms in sticky, low-fluidity, or extremely dusty raw material environments where motorized (paddle) and capacitive sensors become unstable.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Vibrating fork level sensors utilize the physical damping principle to detect the point levels of solid and liquid materials. It is an excellent universal limit switch for powders and fine-grained solids. Its robust housing structure, manufactured from stainless steel, protects the device against corrosion, abrasive external factors, and mechanical impacts, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the system for many years.

How Does the System Work?
The fork-shaped stainless steel tip of the sensor continuously vibrates at its own resonant frequency via internal piezoelectric elements. When the raw material level inside the silo or tank rises and covers the fork, the physical resistance created by the material damps (slows down or stops) this vibration. The sensor's intelligent electronic card detects this frequency change within milliseconds, triggering the relay output and transmitting the "level reached" information to the system. When the material level drops, the fork begins to vibrate freely again, and the signal returns to its original state.

ADVANTAGES AND USAGE AREAS

High Resistance to Sticking: The special tuning fork design inherently prevents material accumulation and sticking on its surface thanks to the vibration effect.

Material-Independent Stability: It always performs reliable level detection at the exact same point, independent of the measured product's moisture, dielectric constant, conductivity, or temperature.

Maximum Lifespan with Stainless Steel Body: The body structure, manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, shows superior resistance to corrosion and wear even in the most aggressive and abrasive industrial environments. This robustness gives the device an exceptionally long operational lifespan.

Easy Installation Without Calibration: No material-based custom calibration or sensitivity adjustment is required to commission the device. It can be used directly with a "Plug-and-Play" logic.

Near-Zero Maintenance Cost: Its robust structure with no moving mechanical parts prevents wear and tear, offering businesses very low service and maintenance costs.

Compact and Powerful Structure: It works smoothly with all powder, granule, and bulk solid materials up to a maximum grain size of 10 mm. It maintains its stability even with low-density or abrasive raw materials.
